What is Gather?
Gather is a networking app for MBA classmates. Browse profiles, match with people you want to meet, chat, and gather after class—on web and iOS.
Who is Gather for?
Gather is built for current MBA students at supported business schools. You create a profile with your school, program, interests, and what you’re looking to connect about.
Which schools does Gather support?
Gather currently supports major MBA programs including Chicago Booth, Columbia, Harvard Business School, Northwestern Kellogg, MIT Sloan, Stanford GSB, Dartmouth Tuck, and Wharton. School eligibility is confirmed with your school email during onboarding.
Is Gather a dating app?
No. Gather is for professional and social networking among MBA classmates—coffee, lunch, study groups, career conversations, and building your network.
How do I join Gather?
Go to gather.best, tap Continue to Join, sign in with Apple, Google, or email, then complete a short onboarding profile. You can also join from the Gather iOS app.
What is Gather beta?
New accounts start in beta while we grow each school community. In beta you can set up your profile and preview Discover; full Discover, matches, and chat unlock when we grant full access for your school or account.
How does Discover work?
Discover shows classmate profiles in a swipe deck. Pass or connect based on school, program, interests, and bio. Mutual interest creates a match.
What happens when I match someone?
With full access, a match opens a chat so you can message and plan to meet. You can also keep private notes on people in your network.
Can I use Gather on my phone and on the web?
Yes. Gather works at gather.best in the browser and as an iOS app. Sign in with the same account on both.
How do I share my Gather profile?
After you set a Gather username, you can share a link like gather.best/yourname so classmates can open your profile.
Is my data private?
We use your information to run Gather—profiles, matching, and messaging. See gather.best/termsandprivacy for the full Terms and Privacy Policy. Private match notes stay visible only to you.
How do I get help or send feedback?
Use gather.best/feedback, or open Feedback from Settings in the app. For account or access questions, include the email you signed up with.
